In HER words :: As a little girl, I was always making cards, planning parties for my dolls and busy with crafts. HBDesigns was born from my love of fashion, textiles, writing and inviting. Everything I create at HBDesigns is made with loving hands and is one-of-kind. I take great pride in working one-on-one with my customers.
I am a busy daughter, sister, wife and mother…my family calls me the “Mother Hen”. I advise my Olympian brother with his career, volunteer, host fabulous dinner parties and I always find time to laugh. I collect shoes and china. I love to cook and still am a sucker for a crafty craft.
My designs fall into two categories: fabrinery (fabric + stationery) and fabritations (fabric + invitations). We create note cards, gift tags, enclosure cards, wine tags, party invites, wedding invitations, holiday cards, bar/bat mitzvah invitations…if you can dream it, we can create it.
In an age of social media and instant gratification, I believe that a handwritten note is more relevant than ever. If you are going to take time to write and invite, I think you should present your friends with something unique, fun and fashionable!
