{Masterclass} with Ali Brown ~ TODAY!

My mentor, Ali Brown, who I have had the honor of working with over the past 2 years, is holding a {FREE} marketing masterclass TODAY!

A couple of weeks ago, while in Los Angeles meeting with Ali, she shared some sneek peaks at information she will share on this call. Trust me, it is GOOD. And completely do-able. And most of what she will teach you can do for FREE.

Ali will share techniques and tips that she and her team are actually using. In fact, they have been testing, tweaking and tracking them over the past year. So her teachings are backed by real data.

Sign up for the call LIVE TODAY, or for a replay time. You will not want to miss out on this generous teaching. I’ll be there. Will you??

BFF {beyond.fabulous.finds.} Mark & Estel SS’14

Friday, September 6th, Mark & Estel made their New York Fashion Week debut in The Studio. I was lucky enough to witness it all!

In business since 2005, Spring/Summer 2014 is Mark & Estel’s 13th collection — lucky 13, I might add. The rocker-chic vibe is not by accident. Mark & Estel meld a love of fashion and of music, creating a line that is edgy, wearable and fun, with just a enough glam and girly to make me seriously swoon. No wonder the likes of Mary Kate Olsen, Lady Gaga and Jessica Simpson all love Mark & Estel designs! And what’s not to love when all pieces are U.S.A. made, baby.

Now to figure out how to work that fab feather hat into my wardrobe!

BFFs {beyond.fabulous.finds.} Jill Stuart SS’14 Collection

If you follow LaunchHER on Instagram, you already know we were in New York City last week for the kickoff of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014!
NYC is one of my most favorite cities, and you know how much I adore fashion, so you can imagine how much I just love NYC during Fashion Week. The energy and style scene is like none other.
On Saturday, Sept. 7th, we were lucky enough to attend the Jill Stuart show in The Theatre!
The show was gorgeous — clean lines, modern designs and crisp color. And those shoes!! Note to self — must track down those wedge sandals!
Here are 3 of our favorite looks. What’s not to love?!

Jill Stuart was born into the world of fashion as her parents owned a well known sportswear company in the 1960s and ‘70s, dressing many top celebrities including Lucille Ball, Natalie Wood and Sheila Macrae. Dinners were filled with industry talk of collections, fabric design and advertising campaigns. She sold her first collection of silver and leather chokers and suede fringed hobos to Bloomingdales at 15 while still attending Manhattan’s Dalton School. Jill later attended the Rhode Island School of Design.The Jill Stuart Collection began in 1993 with accessories and innovations such as the fashion backpack, cocktail mini dresses and plaid kilt skirts. The film “Clueless” featured many of the designs–from her first sportswear collection fueling her notoriety and international appeal.

Today, over 500 international Jill Stuart freestanding stores and in shops have established the designer as a best-selling commodity in fashion with product lines ranging from numerous ready-to-wear collections, cosmetics, beauty, fragrance, bridal, childrenswear, timepieces, jewelry and newly opened JILL STUART cafes.

Stay tuned tomorrow for more Mercedes Benz NYFW SS’14 show reviews!

Move Over Food Trucks {SCOOP} :: Flaunt Accessories

Who :: Melissa Hardin

What :: Flaunt Accessories, mobile fashion truck

Why :: Why not?!  While food trucks are all the rage right now, we say, forget the food, we love fashion! Bringing the goods straight to you, whether at a festival or farmer’s market, shop a well-curated selection of fabulous & on-trend pieces. It’s so genius, you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it.

Move over food trucks, there’s a new truck in town. For more than two years fashion entrepreneur, Melissa Hardin, has hand selected the latest fashion finds and brought them to women across the Twin Cities via trunk shows under the brand name, Flaunt Accessories. Now women can find Flaunt’s wears at farmers markets and festivals across the metro in the Flaunt Truck. Hardin remodeled an old delivery truck into a fashion paradise. With custom cabinetry, wood floors, a decorative tin ceiling and a chandelier. The truck is a boutique on wheels. It carries the clothing and accessories Flaunt customers have come to love, with an expanded selection of locally crafted jewelry, hats and even shoes.

 “It’s harder for clients to get a group together in the summer since everyone heads to the lake or to the many festivals and events around town,” said Hardin. “So we’re bringing our goods to them.”

 The Flaunt Truck tour includes a regular spot in the Paper Depot lot at the Minneapolis Farmers Market every Sunday, local festivals and several salon events throughout the summer. Find the truck by following them Follow on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, @Flaunt_Truck.

{freshly launched} Women In Business :: Jackie Sparkles Jewelry

Freshly Launched :: Jackie Sparkles Jewelry

Launched :: Jackie Hall

LaunchHER Says :: As jewelry lovers, we see a lot of baubles & bling every day. After awhile, it takes something special to catch our eyes. Enter, Jackie Sparkles Jewelry! We are dying to pair the spike bracelet with our summer florals — adding just a touch of edge to the feminine and sweet looks we are living in right now.

In HER Words :: Jackie Sparkles Jewelry started as a hobby. In 2011 I moved from a small town of 9,000 people in Minnesota to Long Island, NY. Talk about culture shock! Struggling to make friends in a new place, I realized that I not only enjoyed designing jewelry, I was good at it! All of my pieces are handmade and sold online or at jewelry parties and I’ve recently started doing customized pieces for prom and other occasions.  While I’m still operating on a small scale, I’ve taken my passion and turned it into something for others to enjoy. After all, everyone needs a little sparkle!!
