Tracy has always preferred the unique style of small, local and indie brands.  In 2008, Tracy started her own creative endeavor – Sweet Harper – selling little girls’ handmade hair accessories on Etsy and Big Cartel.

Tracy knows first-hand the importance of branding and marketing a small business as inexpensively and
uniquely as possible. To grow Sweet Harper she utilized every social media outlet available and developed a blog as part of her handmade brand. In fact, Tracy’s Etsy shop was one of the first brands to be {freshly launched} on LaunchHER in early 2009!

Today Tracy keeps very busy helping other women build their brands through creative marketing and communications. Although this has meant putting Sweet Harper on the back-burner, she still occasionally finds a quiet moment to indulge her love of crafting in her home studio.

Tracy is married to her high school sweetheart and, together with their two young children, lives just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 2004 she received her B.S. degree from St. Catherine University in St.Paul, the largest women’s college in the nation.

In her free time, Tracy also is the co-founder and editor at Sugar Loco.  It goes without saying, she has a major sweet tooth!

Tracy has been a  featured guest on MyTalk 107 and be sure to read her recent Twitterview (Twitter + Interview) with Joel Carlson.
